Oy vey!

Remember when I said Amber was ready for Aquila?

Well, she DID unlock it, but getting a reliable group to join was heck for her - and then KI shut down their game for their monthly maintanence. (Which they did this month to remove Felix and the Christmas decor from Wizard City, reverting the place back to normal mode. Also, no more Yuletide pack or Christmas Crown stuff, which is fine except that I now have to hoard Crowns to get the rest of my wizards better mounts than Enchanted Brooms for perm mounts.)

Count Duckula: "Who, Ra?" Humite: "And Upshee rises!" Yeah, can't get that skit out of my head. ;p

But eventually I perservered and Amber got what I was looking to stitch into her BAB(Big Awesome Blade) I got from a pack long ago... the Sky Iron Hasta. I was arguing against it in my mind, because I was worried I'd lose it and it's bonuses, but then again, you get multiples of it since you can replay Mt. Olympus again and again. What was KingsIsle thinking giving such a good weapon! Sure it only gives five weak wand attacks(fire-elemental so this can be trouble when you fight fire enemies) but...

Amber: "I WANT MY PURPLE PONYTAIL BACK!!!" :(

Amber got this nice hairdo that gives her a ton of stats. It drops her power pip chance and removed her death resist but gives her myth and life resist and more health. She'll wear it until I get more crowns. Amber didn't get to attack much as Jack Ogreleaf(who drafted her into his school of wizardry - which is totally unofficial, Ambrose wasn't informed) razed everything with Ra. :p

She also got through Newgate Prison and is working her way through Knight's Court, flirting herself in an attempt to lure Jacques the Scratcher out of hiding. What a tease. KD 

Err, never mind. I got so wrapped up in NakaTeleeli's Let's Play of Persona 3 FES(I played the original game to the end) that I got carried away and Amber managed to rip through the rest of Marleybone with the help of a few people...

 

Including Blake again, who Amber had to repay by fighting a boss who she was supposed to be underleveled to fight(Mimir Winterbane in Wintertusk, who was glitching up - I guess that explains why the servers shut down for maintenance again - twice in one week!), but somehow the two necromancers won with only a few heals. ^_^

(Katzenstein's Lab was a nightmare for her - she tried to join a few groups but she ported into the dungeon when someone was at the end, so she didn't get credit for it, so she had to try again and the next time, she ran into mobs THRICE and failed to arrive in time to help defeat Firegut. *sigh*)

Amber: "I'll forgive you for dying my hair with this lovely robe... eh, who's speaking to me?"

And Amber got Meowiarty's robe, which looks AWESOME! I am sold on it and might make it the permanent robe for Amber. She also learned Reshuffle from the Zeke point she got from finding all the stray cats, finally. I decided to spend her next set of points getting her in Balance to Hex, so she can really debuff the snot out of enemies. She already hit over 3000 against Meowiarty.

Oh yeah, and she got her next Death quest, the one which St.Sp.(cough cough) got unlucky fizzling three attack spells just as he was about to win. <_<

True fact: I hate bugs in Real Life. @_@

Chris Storycrafter got some action too. (Not that way, this is a family game! :p) As you can see here, he finally got to the Krokosphinx and got his Level 18 spell, Mander Minion, which is supposedly the best support minion in the game. I am sending him to Grizz next time. See you then! ^_^
