Resolutions for 2014

Happy New Year's, fellow wizards! I hope you all bought the Charity Noelephant for a good cause and got your own Polar Fox. Chris Storyteller got a Polar Fox(against my better judgement) and Amber enjoyed the snowy lands of Grizzleheim. Here are my resolutions for the beginning of 2014!

Amber: "Yes! Finally defeated Chester flacking Droors and the Lord of Brambles, Death ROXXS!"
(Resolution #1) Try to remember to check your quest log often!

Before getting too deep into Mirkolm Keep, Amber completely cleared out Wysteria, as I had said before. She also took down Randy the Pig with a buffed to the max Skeletal Pirate, which one-shotted him despite his cheats. He never got off Vampire and now the Spiral Cup for Amber is sitting in her house, decorating her bed balcony. ^_^

After I realized that I had forgotten to close the Karanahn Barracks side-quest by not talking to the Mander in the barracks after defeating the Taskmaster. OOOOOOPS. <_< Yeah, Amber hit Level 35 once she realized that she had not talked to the guy and did so.

I thought I had taken a shot of Amber hitting Level 35, but I didn't. :(
(Resolution #2) Try to focus on mid-morning to mid-evening play time so you can get online friends to join you in fighting tough bosses... of course, you're stuck with over-leveling for quests like this. :(

It took her two tries to defeat the Raven who had her spell - the first time, she defeated the Mystic but the Darkwing Warrior annihilated her with Evil Snowman. Luckily, the second time, she managed to get off a good Animate(the five-pip ghost) and it did a ton of damage with Fire Elf so that Amber could finish the Warrior off. She ate a couple of upchucks from Humonofrog(which I lovingly called Pukefrog because of its animations) but luckily had her Dream Shields up to absorb most of the stink and the ghost survived long enough to lay a few Death Traps, though it broke Ambers with Ghoul.

Now Amber has Dark Pact and can heal up the damage with Satyr, so she's done with Life spells and will get Reshuffle on her next level up. She's already completed Chelsea Court and is good to go for the Ironworks. She also got revenge on Chester Droors and Lord Bramble and made a joke of Randy Spellshine, getting her own Spiral Cup. Wysteria is 100% complete! ^_^

(Resolution #3) Try to get the Red Barn Farm for Sunmancer so he can start gardening and become dependent on me. *sigh* 125,000 gold... kill me now. @_@

Amber's also gardening a bit and has floated a few patches of earth around some Snap Dragons so she can age up everything and get some good stuff. (I somehow lost the screenshots of that, so I will have to send it up for the first post of 2014, I promise.)

(Resolution #4: Don't lie about your progress.)

In other news, Chris Storyteller got Balanceblade(I apologize if I misinformed you last post, but he just completed the spell quest for it) and was able to complete Colossus Boulevard, get the clothing quests done for new gear and defeat Foulgaze with the help of Kelsey Battlehaven, who liked the Polar Fox pet. I like it too but I might switch it out for something else even though it's a Balance elemental pet and would work great with this guy.

Once he gets done with Crab Alley, I will take on Nightshade and get him to Krokotopia. That's my final Wizard101 resolution - get him to KT before the ball drops on 2013 even if I have to stay up all night tonight. Comment if you like reading this series. I will try to make it look nicer and give reports on the other wizards - I haven't forgotten about them! Ciao for now and have a happy New Year's!

Happy Belated Christmas!

Sorry I have not been updating but I was away all Christmas Day to celebrate in Houston with my sister and her in-laws, so I didn't have time to do much, but I did do a few things, so here is a quick update. I must warn you: I plan on focusing on Chris Storycrafter and Amber Rainbow until I get to a point where I can farm for loot to put in the shared bank so that the others can get moving.

(1) I got my avatar, Chris Storycrafter, to Level 12 and cleared out Firecat Alley and Triton Avenue. He got Precision and Balanceblade and defeated the Iron Golem. So he's doing pretty well. I also got $45 in gift cards from my family for Christmas so I splurged on the new Hive Bundle. I set the weapon to Level 90 as a goal for Chris for when he finally hits Promethean and gave him the Amber Estate(which is a maze that I don't like, I couldn't find the bank in that giant beehive) and the bumblebee pet(which isn't that great) but I also used the Crowns(which I got 25% more of due to holiday deals so I got 6250 Crowns) to buy a sweet Polar Fox pet for its nifty Bladestorm card.

(2) As for Amber, she cleared Hyde Park and completed her Level 28 spell quest, getting Animate. Animate isn't really great because it uses all of her pips to summon an undead monster. I got the 1-pip ghost, the 2-pip Dark Sprite, and the 3-pip Skeletal Warrior. Amber will ditch the spell later, she doesn't really need help fighting off the enemies of Marleybone. She also completed the last side-quest in Krokotopia, summoning and defeating the legendary champion. (Well, not yet, but soon - she's parked in front of the Vault ready to defeat the Guardians of the Fang again.)

And everyone else is just chilling, waiting for me to stop being distracted by The Sims 3 and get on with getting their mounts and castles for them. :p Ciao for now!

Apologies in advance...

My apologies to those who love this blog, but I had some issues - I just replaced my computer with a sleek new Samsung model with the hard drive built into the screen... and I dumped my old computer and FORGOT to transfer the screenshots I recently took. So now they are going to be deleted when that computer gets sent to Goodwill and formatted. OOPS.

So you won't see any pictures of a Chris here... except for one...

I don't know if I told you before but I said that I wouldn't start my actual wizard who represented me, Chris Storycrafter the Sorcerer, until I got this new computer. My parents gave it to me three days early because we couldn't open it in Houston where I am going on Christmas Day, so I got the BIG MONEY GIFT early. It runs like a dream and Wizard101 looks much more high-def, though I can't show it in these shots since they don't render well in blogs. :p

Amber farmed Lord N a few more times before she abandoned the cause as lost, but not before getting the big money drop, the Blue Banshee pet. :)

BOOM.
Amber got to Lord Grausterk and hit Level 26 by doing side-quests in Wys, so she was able to flaunt her new Feint spell to utterly DESTROY HIM! ^_^ She got a new deck case and a green cha-cha hairdo which she won't use because I just bought Animal Crossing: New Leaf (and owe dad $3 because it was more than I had) and won't get any more cards for weeks. :(

Just you wait, Chester... I'm gunning for you...

The others are in limbo until Amber drums up the money to buy them brooms (and the Red Barn Farm for Sunmancer so he can start TRULY gardening) so I'll leave it here as Amber tackles the Vigrid Roughland next because she's a bit overpowered for that place now. Ciao for now!

Read, comment, enjoy! ^_^

There won't be snow in Krokotopia this Christmas Time... but plenty in Grizzleheim!

(Decided to drop the session numbers as I will probably be playing random wizards between Amber's time. Also, I apologize for not updating sooner - I have just started playing Pirate101 with Amber's twin sister, the Witch Doctor Honest Hope Holystone, and she just tore through Skull Mountain and the Temple of Gloom easily. ^_^)

Welcome to the Amazing Adventures of Amber, Chapter 1! I'm going to do an Amazing Adventures once in a while and throw in other stuff like showing off Pyro Chris Sunmancer's gardening progress and maybe give summaries of what the other wizards are doing. I won't forget them, but leaving them alone until Amber makes like the Little Drummer Boy and drums up the loot to put in the Shared Bank for the others to withdraw and auction out to get the gold for their permanent enchanted brooms at the least.

I redeemed a $10 Gamestop card for one month of pre-paid times so I have until January 15, 2014 to get more money to redeem another card. Until then, I will be bum rushing Amber through Krokotopia and other places so she can get more valuable loot drops. All to the tune of Chuggaaconroy's laughter. (If you don't know who Chuggaaconroy is, check out this link to his Youtube page. You'll never watch another New Super Mario Bros. Let's Play other than the Runaway Guys, I promise! ^_^) I also wasted another 10,000 Crowns AND a free gift from KI of 5000 Crowns on their last promotion buying Hoard Packs, but...

Amber got a sweet sick sword which I am going to keep as her main weapon - well, right now she's stuck with the cruddy Wysteria Oasis Life Wand as it does more damage and we don't need Elemental Diffuse from this blade(the Four Winds Blade, I think it's called, it's bad@$$). ^_^ I also got a nice axe but it's glitched on the character select screen so I might not keep it.

Highlights

  • Amber easily completed her Level 18 Spell Quest and now has added Curse to her repertoire of traps. Seriously, all of the other Level 18 Spell Quests involve a boss battle, but this one? NO BATTLES REQUIRED. I mean, it DOES advance the whole Malistaire plot because Mal used to be the one new Necromancers went to in order to get their Spell Quests, but we had to fight wimp clones of Skullsplitter and Wormguts at Level 12! At least give us something to bite our Vampires on! :(

  • Death Blade + Curse + Dragonblade + Vampire = Nirinis' Worst Nightmare. The only one she had trouble with was Soulkeeper because he was bugged and I didn't realize I had to click on his name to get my spells on - I wasted a Tempest Treasure Card on him and nearly died the first time. :(
  • Got through the Pyramid fine with another group of friends, but I accidentally ported in on them in the middle of the battle with Prince Manu and the quest didn't get completed so I had to have her solo the dungeon to complete the quests there. Amber made a friend in some girl who had been through the game once and was bored of going through Krok. Krokotopia is my favorite world by far, though I have yet to get to Azteca and Khrysalis. (My highest level wizard is still stuck in Avalon by the Jabberwock but I heard they reduced the difficulty a tad to allow you to get to Khrys quicker. I hope that means Jabber's proc Meteors do a lot less damage.)
  • FINALLY got the Colossus Statue from Prince Gobblestone! Woohoo! I just need the Wraith and Cyclops statues! ^_^ She also got a ton of housing item drops from Krokotopia bosses.
  • Amber reached Level 20 after completing the Pyramid of Fire(and farming Akilles and Lord Nightshade to get the EXP to push her over) and alternated between Grizzleheim(which I call Grizz) and Krokotopia to get her next death spell, Skeletal Pirate, which replaced Banshee. I'll never use Banshee again, it's too weak.

  • Amber then got to Level 24 completing Savarstaad Pass. She nearly died to the optional spider boss because she was forced to fight a Webwood Ice Spider which sucks because they spam Tower Shield and Snow Serpent. >_<
  •  She then cleared Hall of Champions and did Ako's quest in the Grand Arena, getting her to Level 25. And you know what THAT means!
We meet again, Chester Droors... and I'm gonna bust that chest of yours, bwa ha ha!
Yep, Amber's reached Wysteria and is ready to get her revenge on Chester for destroying her twice when she was a Sorceress! Bwa ha ha ha!!!! I also changed my mind about her Level 25 Training Point and gave it to Niles to get Spirit Blade so she can do more damage and hopefully survive against Lord Grausterk and Chester. (Sadly, she has an ugly wand and ugly robe as I am down to 97 Crowns so I can't stitch anymore until after Christmas due to the fact that I am saving my next gift card for Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Sorry, Chuggaa's Let's Play of it just convinced me to get it. <_>)

Which means that the Chrises will be riding temp mounts until they get permanent Enchanted Brooms from Amber for Christmas, at least until I get more Gamestop cards. *sigh* I did play Chris Jadehaven and Chris Dragonwhisper and Chris Dragonwhisper managed to get his Level 12 Spell Quest completed. Sadly, Chris Talesmith is stuck in limbo until I gift him a Permanent Broom mount. This is a reverse of roles - in my main account my Thaumaturge was the one who shot ahead of everyone and my Necromancer is the one who is the farthest behind(she's still in the Krokosphinx) but now it's the other way around here!

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy the weekend and I'll give you a report of what I did Monday, after I get my permanent crowns. (No, not KingsIsle Crowns, I mean for my root canals. *sob*) Ciao for now!

(Again, comment if you like this blog!)

Amber's ready for Krokotopia!

Merry Xmas! My wizards got a nice 10,000 crowns to play with and Amber got a nice new sword as her main weapon and a candy-cane permanent mount as well as a TON of new pets, including a Death Cyclops which, when it hatches, will help her a lot. The Hoard's Pack sales made me go crazy and spend 90% of my crowns on Hoard Packs and a couple of Yuletide packs. I also got a ton of helmets and boots and the Unkind Axe of Winter which my other wizards passed around since I was getting sick of having one pip at the start of each battle. I also got a Deathclops from one of the Hoard packs which I might alternate with Duncan the Talented Piggle, because Amber gets a Dragonblade. I must be blessed with Christmas luck because every pre-paid Gamestop card I've redeemed has given me a pet with Dragonblade, where the last set of cards gave me Rain Demons(with Curse) and Gamer Piggles. At least half of my wizards will be very happy campers until Khysalis. :D

I only have 447 Crowns left, but hey, it's the holidays, it'd be weird not to indulge a little. ^_^

Forgot something, Chairman? *cough cough*
Oh yeah, sorry Amber. 6_6^ I also got this lovely blade from a Hoard pack which I decided will be Amber's weapon appearance to be stitched all of her future woobs. Half of the Crowns went to a nice permanent mount for her, a limited Christmas candy cane. Because nothing screams "yandere!" more than a cute girl in a beret riding a candy cane like a broomstick and swinging around a big <bleeding> blade that glows violet. ^_^

To add on the creep factor, Amber managed to score the two Cephalapod Obelisks she'll need to craft her third home, the Wyrd House. Now all she needs is a few more items... and 70 more levels and access to the home of Merle Ambrose. *le sigh* It'll be a long haul.

I only played two characters for Session 3: Amber and Pyro Chris(aka Mr. Sunmancer, I decided to just give them nicknames for the blog so I wouldn't have to type out their full names every time). I decided to put my other wizards in hiatus while I work on Amber to get her up to Mooshu and start her farming drops to get money for everyone else's houses. She's just like Amy Mistcloud, the workhorse. She even shares the first two letters in Amy's name! <_< At least I'll get the money for everyone to own a permanent broom until I get enough Crowns to customize each of my wizards, but I want to save my Christmas gift cards to buy something else, you know, like Animal Cross: New Leaf?

Can't shield against THIS, can ya, your highness? :p
Pyro Chris will be visited from time to time as he will be the main farmer - everyone will work on a garden but Pyro Chris will get the Big Red Barn and so he's started his gardening training, planting the Dandelion and Boom Shroom he got from the Green Acres quest chain. I placed a Garden Gnome near the pots and now both plants are at young stage and will start demanding needs and pest control soon. That's why I need to get Amber through Krokotopia, so once he gets the shared bank goodies to auction, he'll get his first house, Oasis Village(costs 12000 gold, I think) and plant a temporary garden there until we get enough for him to get the B.R.B. In other news, he managed to get to Colossus Boulevard at Level 13 and complete it just before Level 15. The Crown clothes I gave him made it possible for him to clear Golem Tower, the Three Streets and get started on Crab Alley despite his low base HP. I also finalized his look, making him a sun pirate. (I wanted to get the bowler hat but the cheap ones were sold out. *sigh*)

Chris Sunmancer (aka Pyro Chris)
On the bright side, Pyro Chris managed to score the elusive Firecat Statue for my main Chris's house after three battles with Prince Swiftarrow. The picture above shows a Theurgist who had joined the battle ending the battle with a Treasure Card Thunderbird. ^_^

This will be basically "The Adventures of Amber and Gardening with Sunmancer" for the time being. Once I get some permanent mounts for everyone else, I'll start work on the others. Also, I'll start a new blog to tell the adventures of Chris Storycrafter when I get started on him in a couple of weeks.

If anyone wants to leave comments, please do. Just keep the profanities to a minimum(I will block people using the S-word or F-word, as this is about a PG-rated game, please) and no flaming. I made this blog to share my stories with others and if you don't like it, why are you reading this?

Ciao for now!

Progress Report: Session 2

(For some weird reason, Firefox won't let me edit my posts on Blogger.com, so I have to use Google Chrome for the time being. I apologize if it destroys the quality of the posts.)

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE! ^_^
At the time of this blog, it's almost 9 PM on December 13, so technically it's 12 days to Christmas Eve but by the time I upload this, it'll be 12 days to Christmas Day(blame Youtube videos of Super Mario 3D World) and 12 days to getting my new computer and starting play on the real Chris. I bought a $20 gift card from Gamestop with my sister's birthday gift card, but I don't plan on redeeming it until all my wizards save Chris Storyteller has gotten the Spiral Key to Krok as then I can get the 2 months of pre-paid time, though I could just get a $10 card and use it for pre-paid and redeem the other card for Crowns to get Amber a permanent Candy Cane mount. Right now, I had two Wizards stuck without a mount as their brooms ran out before I could finish their training.

Amber won the Triton Statue third try against Sergeant Skullsplitter and is now wearing Christmas-colored gear until she gets the clothing quest from Gloria, which is what she will do when she starts Session 3 as Jadehaven unlocked Colossus Boulevard. So now only Sunken City(which I won't pay for) is the only part of Wizard City locked. I plan on having all those special statues get transferred to Storycrafter when he gets his first house and displaying them all. So, I need to look up who drops the other statues.

Are the Lost Pages returning? I hope so!
I found Dee's Mirror still in Triton Avenue, near the Haunted Cave. Amy Mistcloud participated in the first two events but she wasn't able to get to Mooshu in time to get the Lost Page of Woe. I hope that they reinstate the Lost Pages in 2014, that would give me motive to replay Amy and get past the Jabberwock so she can get to Azteca and do ALL of the events.

I trained Amber and Chris J. to Level 13, but the others I could only get to Level 10 as I was getting a bit burned out by doing the same thing three more times. That and Youtube videos were a bad way of distracting myself, and my computer was lagging horribly when I play Youtube videos. :(

Ah, I remember when Amy Mistcloud was having this event like yesterday...
(She did this event about two and a half months ago.)
Some cool highlights:
  • Chris Talesmith got a rare deck drop from a Field Guard, an Antique Deck, saving him money on a Novice Ice Deck.
  • Chris Sunmancer got three wizards helping him fight Skeletal Warriors to get the Finger Bones for Greta Darkkettle and while I was friending one of the pyromancers, another Skeletal wandered by and dragged all of the wizards into another battle. XD
  • Chris Dragonwhisper met a wizard who was STILL riding an ancient Meowmydon mount. Anyone who remembers KingsIsle's promotion knows that that mount was a rare... oh wait, it could have been a Frostfang Sabertooth mount. Nevermind!
  • Sunmancer and Dragonwhisper have more health than all of my other wizards due to the Crowns I invested in two Midsummer's Helms and two sets of Guardsman Boots. This also gives Guiding Light and Sprite, which combo to keep my two fragile wizards alive during tough boss battles.
  • I have contracted acute Fallonitis; 90% of my Ice spells fizzled, and this forced me to abort the battle with Wormguts with Chris Talesmith the first time as he was getting pounded and couldn't get off a spell to destroy the enemies. Extremely bad luck. :(
Dragonwhisper has defeated both Cyclops bosses in Cyclops Lane(he had help with a fellow Diviner to tale down Akilles and got a Crowns mount, a Nightwing Pegasus, from him) and Talesmith defeated Bastilla Gravewynd with help. Amber Rainbow and Chris Jadehaven have completed the Three Streets. So everyone is pretty much ready to go. Chris J. is the first to complete his second spell quest(Amber needs to visit Colossus to do the first part of hers - I forgot about that part, I only remembered the other part), but everyone has completed their first school quest at Level 7. Poor Talesmith - I should have given the Damp Demon I got the first gift card(yes, one of the Oni demons I got from my Gamestop $20 gift cards was a Damp Demon which gave Dragonblade, though the pet casting is glitched and sometimes shows the ceiling) to him since he won't get a decent blade until Level 38 or higher!

Anyways, ciao for now. Next post will be posted when my three elemental wizards are at Level 15 and Amber and Chris J. have completed all of the quests in Wizard City save the ones involving Sunken City. (Won't do those until I get pre-paid time, everyone is Level 26 and has a lot of health and maybe a few high-level friends to tag along since Sunken City is EVIL.)

Progress Report: Session 1

Hello! 18 days until my new computer arrives. Here is the first of many reports I'll give you readers to show you how my utility wizards are doing. These guys will support my main wizard, Chris Storycrafter, by transferring pets, reagents, and gear they farm for.

Amber Rainbow
That's a BIG monster! @_@
Amber did pretty well for herself. I watched Blaze Lifehammer's Youtube video run of the Level 90 rank Midnight Sun Pagoda dungeon while playing her. She got through Unicorn Way's quests in around one hour and sixteen minutes, give a few minutes when I was A.F.C. to make dinner. (I checked the timer on the video I was watching to find out how long I went, but you can't quote me on that, as I said I was A.F.C. for a bit, so I paused the video.) Some highlights:
  1. The first battle she got into in Unicorn Way was joined by two other wizards. One of them was at max level(95 as of now) and had learned Shadow Magic. Of course, she didn't choose to Shadow morph, instead taking out the Lost Souls with two Efreets. (She was clearly a Pyromancer.) I tried to make her a friend but she didn't show up so either she logged out at that moment or I missed her.
  2. The first two friends Amber made were Novice Theurgists called Devin and Jason. No last names.
  3. One battle with Dark Fairies was joined by a Novice Thaumaturge whose spells kept fizzling.KD
  4. Amber was joined in one skeletal pirate battle by a high-level wizard(didn't get his school or name) who asked if it was the first time I played. I said no and he said he liked helping new-timers. That's a nice guy if ever I saw one.
  5. After getting Death Trap from Ambrose and visiting Olde Town for the first time, Amber went back to Ravenwood and spent both of her training points on Life spells. I plan on her first set of points to be to get her up to Sprite so she can have a healing over time spell until she gets a Spritely pet. Then I'll work on other chains. More on that next post.

This is what she is wearing right now. She just hit Level 6 after much Blackhope farming. I might dye them when I get more gold, but right now I am working on getting Xmas wands for everyone since I got a $20 Gamestop card and 10,000 crowns. (I won't buy pre-paid time until I get my new rig, but I will buy the rest of Wizard City - maybe Sunken City if my guys hit Level 26 as the enemies in Krokt will be around the same range of health as everyone and Krokopatra has more health than Gnubb - since WC areas are cheap.)
~ Doin' the *buzz buzz* Bee Dance ~  ^_^
Chris Jadehaven:
I was watching Blaze Lifehammer get killed thrice in his run of the Level 90 rank Winterbane Dungeon while I ran through the motions with Chris J. (I actually got through Unicorn Way in less time, only an hour and nine minutes.) Go to the link highlighted to see the two-hour plus hilarity. KD

My Life Chris did pretty well too, despite nearly DYING because some guy jumped into a battle and dragged in a Dark Fairy which dropped Jadehaven to 67 health. Luckily, he hit Level 3 after the battle and got all his health and mana back. ^_^

There were a lot of people in transformations - I saw a bandit rat, Mander, evil snowman and even that fire elemental who nearly killed Chris J. by dragging in a Dark Fairy.

All of my wizards will be played to Level 6 and then I'll give another report. I will be focusing on Amber a bit more than the others as she is going to be my only female wizard on the sub-account AFAIK.

He also got the pet off of my Gamestop card, which was a Damp Demon instead of the usual Rain Demons I got. For some reason its Dragonblade casting is glitched - the camera gives a shot of the sky instead of focusing on King Dexter(the pet). I tried unequpping him and re-equipping him but it doesn't fix it.
~ Doin' the *buzz buzz* Bee Dance ~
Chris Sunmancer
A light in the dark...
Did two videos while running this guy. First was Blaze Lifehammer's run of Nastrond, then his run of Mirror Lake to fill up some time. (Didn't get the link.) I farmed some Fairy Queens hoping for one-day mount drops.

This guy was a bit difficult to run as he had the lowest base health and his Firecats fizzled a lot, but all in all, it wasn't too hard as he made a lot of friends. He almost died in his first battle as someone jumped in and dragged in another ghost, but he made it through thanks to the items he got from the shared bank which Chris J. put in, including a Candle Wand which did more damage. (Yes, I am buying all the Christmas wands for my wizards. For my Pyro, the candle wand was the best bet. For Chris J. I got the Star Wand. Amber and Chris St. will get candy cane wands and my Thau will get a mint staff. I bought the cheapest wands as they cost only 300 Crowns a pop.)

At level 5, I splurged over 1/3 of the Crowns I had left to give him a set of Level 5 Crowns gear. This stuff is over 2000 Crowns total but it's really worth it for Pyros and Diviners. (I won't be using it if I decide to fill the sixth slot with a Diviner, at least until I get more money.)

For training points, his first five will go towards Ice to Tower Shield, and maybe even get two more for Blizzard so he can have something that he can use against fire enemies. So he has Snow Serpent now.

(Also met a fellow Pyro called Blaze FIREhammer. ^_^)

Bringing the Joker to Rattlebones. ^_^
Chris Talesmith
What's wrong? Everyone is squatting like Chief Squatting Bull! :(
(There is a glitch in the game where wizards end up frozen in a squatting position. It vanishes when you change areas. I know, Amber got hit with the bug while farming Blackhope. You can't see it but one wizard who fought with Chris T. was hit with the bug.)

Here are a list of the videos I watched while going through this part:
This was my most boring character to play since he wouldn't die too easily - he came down to 214 once but there were plenty of red wisps to keep him healthy. I immediately spent 100 Crowns to stitch a non-ice wand into his Mint Staff so he wouldn't be at a disadvantage.

For training points, he is getting Fire to Fire Trap, so he can utilize Ice Prism to the fullest.

Oh great, Chris T. has the Mark of the Beast. This is a bad omen. <_<
Chris Dragonwhisper
The New Kid on the Spiral, Chris D.
Video I watched while running this guy: Blaze Lifehammer's run of Tartarus while it was on the test realm. I have yet to get there(I'm not going to be playing pre-paid for a while and I've only be playing W101 for half a year now) but I wanted to get a preview of what was going to be going down, and Blaze's group is hilarious if you are old enough to hear cuss words. Go check out his videos!

I decided to go ahead and create a Diviner for my last wizard in this sub-account: Then we would have Balance and the three elementals of Fire, Ice and Storm. Chris T. is my Tank and Chris D. is my Cannon.

It was a bit trying considering the low health and random fizzles but I could just one-shot the skeletal pirates and dark fairies without any worry with one Thunder Snake. I got through those quests quickly.

He got another Midsummer's Cowl and Watchtower Boots to buff his health and the cards he gets with those will complement each other so I won't have to learn Life for a while. For training points, he'll get Ice to Tower Shield first so he has Snow Serpent too.

Dance, cat, dance! ^_^ (Someone in this battle died, but it wasn't me.)
I hope this post wasn't too big. I promise I won't be as picture-heavy in future progress reports, maybe just a montage of pictures in one collage. Ciao for now! 6_^

Welcome to my Wizard101 Blog!

I honestly honestly HONESTLY wish that these were the types of characters that people playing Wizard101 got to play with instead of the polygonal Final Fantasy VII ones, but I guess you can't expect miracles. The advertisement was made by effects artists in some high-paid studio and KingsIsle isn't Square-Enix, so I'll take what I get.

I'm not against the polygonal characters, mind you... oh, sorry, didn't mean to rant.

Welcome! I want you to feel at home here. This is the home of my Wizard101(and possibly Pirate101 if I get into that) stories. Sort of like the Friendly Necromancer but this will be focusing more on my characters and their journeys.

I have a main account which had all female wizards, but it was sort of a fanboyish thing related to the Sailor Moon series and was really ridiculous. Still, my first wizard there, Amy Mistcloud, hit Level 80 and got to Avalon, so that is a boost to the morale. The cheating boss there, not much.

I realized that I need to start a character with my signature on it. I'm a guy so I need to play a few male wizards. I created four of my wizards but my signature wizards, Chris Storyteller, won't be played until I get my spanking new computer this Christmas. I still spent the time getting through the free-to-play areas and get pretty powerful.

The main account had purchased up the Chelsea Court in Marleybone, so all of Wizard City and Krokotopia were paid for with Crowns, as well as the first two areas of Grizzleheim and Mt. Olympus in Aquila, but I didn't buy any areas in my sub-account so it's just the non-combat areas(save Aquila), Unicorn Way and Triton Avenue(plus the Haunted Cave).

Anyways, here are the characters I created so far...

(1) My signature character, Chris Storycrafter, who hasn't even started yet. He's a Sorcerer because my last character I played before Amy Mistcloud was Balance and I wanted to try again but unfortunately my main account is full. But once I get my new computer, I am going to spend at least one day a week on him.
(2) I plan on only having five wizards on this sub-account, but I may play a Diviner to round out the elemental trinity. Chris Jadehaven is my Life Wizard. I really life playing Life Wizards as they get all the good heals and can't be killed easily. I usually have the Life Wizard be the major gardener as Moolinda Wu introduces you to Gardening. The gardener of my main account was the Life Wizard.
(3) Amber Rainbow, the Sorcerer I had deleted, is back from the grave and is now undead. Well, maybe not but she loves the undead now and has been reborn as a Necromancer. She's going to make Chester Droors PAY for killing her over and over. :p

(4) I took the test for this guy, Chris Sunmancer, whose last name was randomized. But it fits since he'll be a Fire Wizard. I plan on going with one or two guys and burning the midnight oil to try to get each of my wizards up to Level 20 via grinding before I unlock pre-paid time for them so they will have an easier time against the bosses after Triton Avenue. So I have Life and Death and Fire and...
(5) Ice, my Thau. Since Amy Mistcloud did so great for me and got to Level 80(though I admit to using a few henchmen), I went with Ice again for Chris Talesmith, even though Wintertusk is going to whip him hard with all those ice enemies roaming about. Talesmith and Sunmancer sport hair colored their opposite element and Talesmith has darker skin and Sunmancer has pale skin.

There you go. I will post another post in a few days showing how I progressed. As I said, my main character won't be played after I get my new computer(though I accidentally hit play on him and had to exit out quickly) but I will run through the others without sound so I can see how far my grinding takes them.

See ya next time, Wizards! ^_^
